About Us

Our Story

The story of MedicubeX started when co-founders Heikki Rautajoki and Vili Kostamo first met in 2016 in a research project for non-invasive diabetes screening funded by Academy of Finland and coordinated by VTT Technical Research Center Finland.

United by their shared enthusiasm for non-invasive diabetes screening, their journey towards establishing MedicubeX began. After three years of preparation and study, MedicubeX was officially founded in March 2020, with Vili Kostamo M.D taking the role of CEO. The first three years were dedicated to product development.

The first clinical pilot project started in April 2023 with a health center in Helsinki, the largest city of Finland. The interest towards MedicubeX has been significant immediately after the Helsinki cooperation was announced. At the moment negotiations are ongoing with instances all over Finland, Estonia, Netherlands, UK and Sweden. The company is aiming for fast international growth.

Our mission is to improve disease prevention through early diagnosis, optimize time for patients and healthcare professionals, and revolutionize healthcare services, ensuring accessibility for all.

Our Vision

Our vision is to make preventive healthcare affordable and universally accessible, regardless of location. We are driven to proactively prevent as many diseases as possible. Additionally, we are determined to address the global nursing shortage by automating resources and optimizing healthcare delivery.
